Every time I reveal that I am a blogger and I make money from blogging, it’s almost an automatic question how much I earn from it. I say it’s not always about the money. It’s my passion. And that’s the great thing about it. I get to be paid in doing what I really love. But if you’re really interested about the figures, let me tell you first how do I make money from blogging.

This is the most commonly used advertising program. It’ s a type of contextual ad program where you paste a code to strategically blend on your post or website showing an image or text based ads. It became popular because of its wide range of available ads. On my blogs, I usually use 300×250, 200×200, 468×60 and 90×15 types. You are paid by the clicks of your visitors on these ads.
2. Chitika
Another way of making money is through Chitika. This program can yield good earnings depending on your traffic source and blog topic. Most technology and gadget blogs fit well with Chitika. But for best result your visitors must particularly come form US or Canada as ads are only served to those locations.
3. Nuffnang
One of my favorite ads program is Nuffnang. As it promotes, it is the first blog advertising community in Asia. I am from Philippines and most of the ads here are really relevant to my contents. Not only that, the payment is already in Philippine Peso.
